Quite interesting that the U.S. is now accusing Assange of criminal eavesdropping after its operatives conducted a criminal eavesdropping operation against attorney-client privileged conversations.
The CIA can do such things against individuals, but individuals cannot defy the CIA and its fellow members of the "intelligence community."

As the CIA's hacking of Assange's right to speak with lawyers occurred in the Ecuadoran embassy, which was under the sovereignty of Ecuador and the protection of the British government, it seems rather peculiar that no investigation or charges have been filed over this matter by Ecuador or UK authorities. The case has been under investigation in Spain, home of the CIA's hack/eavesdrop contractor, but has been studiously ignored in Britain, the United States and Ecuador.
