You have to wonder why the British government has been so cooperative in the targeting of Julian Assange by America's Deep State.
The behavior of the UK courts is inexplicable without the realization that it is being strongly influenced by minions of Downing Street.
Assange has already endured sufficient punishment to cover any supposed wrongdoing under British standards. Even under Britain's restrictive speech and press laws, it is unlikely any British court would have sentenced him to more than two years in a minimum security prison had the same "crimes" been against British law.
That is, a reasonable policy would have been to release him. And even now, the Ministry of Justice and the judge act as though they have never heard of ankle bracelets. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to keep such a bracelet closely monitored so that if he left his house, he would be intercepted? Instead he has been treated like a dangerous terrorist.
Well, what's the British government up to? Could it be that the Johnson government's cooperation is a stratagem of Perfidious Albion to cagely undermine the vaunted U.S. First Amendment? After all, one of the things that makes America great is the First Amendment right of free press and speech.
MI6's empire glory hounds surely see that the undermining of that fundamental right can only help their agents gain full control of what is said publicly in America. The result? Globalism on the British Establishment's terms. The old British empire will revive under another guise as Americans are reduced to serfdom.
All that stands between a strong America and its the decline and fall is -- liberty, under God.
